吉姆 JIM HOFMAN | Photography Faces & places in China

Hong Kong 8.17

Five-mile street photography walk + strained knee ligament = real pain.  But worth it.

There was a street corner near the Ladies Market in Mong Kok that was bathed in strong afternoon light.  I worked that sliver of light for about 30 minutes – running back and forth to capture people walking directly into the light.  I love the high contrast / harsh shadows created in this pre-golden hour illumination.
