I absolutely love southern China in October and early November. The humidity and big heat are gone. You can actually walk around in the middle of the day instead of hiding in an air conditioned office or hotel. That meant I could get out and enjoy lots of street photography without my lens fogging.
All of these photos were taken using a small Nikon P7800 ($500) as versus my large DSLR in an experiment I was performing. The expense of a camera doesn’t necessarily guarantee great photos. I will admit the fast lenses I use on my DSLR provide a more unique depth of field experience, but in street photography it’s more about the content / light / shadow and DOF takes a back seat.
