We sat at the table next to this guy at the “Big Restaurant” in our village. We offered him a beer and he joined us at our table. Then he drank almost all of our beer. Didn’t speak a lick of English, but a good guy.
Edit: 3/7/11 – We had dinner with this guy last night. We invited him to join us and drank beer with him for a couple hours. He’s 73 years old, but looks like 103.
Edit: 11/16/11 – Mr. Really Old Guy made a surprise appearance at a private business luncheon we were attending today. We had to explain to the group how we happen to know this guy who didn’t speak any English (except “OK”). He greeted us like old war buddies. He was also sporting a pair of woman’s sunglasses.
Edit: 2/14/12 – I went to the big restaurant tonight and Mr. Really Old Guy joined me briefly during a Valentine’s Day dinner.

Edit: 6/10/11 – Yet another night of drinking a beers with Mr. Old Guy. He eats dinner at the big restaurant every night and had already left. One of the waitresses that we know called him at home and told him we were back in town. He came over for 3-4 TsingTaos, then drove his motorcycle home. I think he’s a bad influence on us…
