We took a great walk through the Ladies Market in Mongkok before dinner. I love the energy of that area of Hong Kong. It’s an incredibly target-rich area for street photography and home to a couple great camera stores. What else could you ask for?
It looks like a lot of these photos were taken in daylight, but the lights are so bright at night in the shopping district that you get this soft, daylight effect. Light is coming from EVERYWHERE. Very cool!
All the photos in this post (and all future posts) are from my new Fuji X-E2S. It’s nice not lugging around a heavy DSLR or an under-powered point-and-shoot for these types of street photos. The Fuji is perfect and they make some incredible lenses for the street photographer. Most of these use either the 18mm or 27mm.
