This was my first serious camera – a Canon F1 ( circa 1976). It had a Sigma 28 – 85mm zoom lens that I LOVED. This was the time before auto-focus and super-zooms. I cut my photo-teeth on this camera. It also had a cool interchangeable viewfinder.
Over the last 30+ years I shot thousands of photos (on film) and the wear on the body & lens is obvious. It sits proudly on my mantle as a reminder of old technology and my roots.
Thanks Dad.
