I went to Qingxi to celebrate the fourth of July with a group of expat friends.  I also made my usual tour of the town for street photos.  It never disappoints.

I’ve photographed the lady in the first image below on several other trips.  I love the steam that bellows out of the steam table and how the light catches it against the dark background. Like many street photographers, I “work the scene” until I get the shot I’m looking for.  In this case it took 5 frames to get the final shot.
