After I leave China I’m visiting my daughter who is teaching at an international school in the West Bank. Besides being a mule transporting mac-n-cheese and other delicacies, I unwittingly opened the door to some long distance shopping for my fashion-starved daughter. Apparently there are no Zara stores in the West Bank and I made the mistake of texting a photo of a Zara that I passed in a luxury mall in Ningbo, China. The insanity began soon after.
Believe it or not this is an abridged version of the text conversation.
(Update: She loved the sweater. It was still cold in Nablus and she wore it every day while I was there.)
