I moved to Ningbo in March of 2024 to open a sourcing office for my company. It has always been a dream of mine to live in a foreign country and when the opportunity presented itself last year I lept at it. Ningbo is a “small city” of 9.4 million people. When I first started traveling here 12 years ago it seemed huge, but every year that goes by it becomes more accessible and smaller to me.

I shoot photos with a group of Urbex (urban exploration) photographers and our favorite locations are buildings that are abandoned and slated to be demolished. We often wander through old apartment buildings and can still hear the faint voices of the old tenants.
